Nothing like a good woodstove to warm body and soul on a cold (wintery!) day.
So true! This is the first time since we bought it that the electricity went out, and not only did it keep the entire house warm, we also made our meals on it and heated up water for tea. For us, it represents a big step toward self-sufficiency!
