Interlude: Dogsledding in the Tetons, Wyoming

Little did I know that the scariest, most exhilarating moment of my trip back country snowshoeing in the Tetons this winter would be the unexpected chance to learn to drive a dog sled. Thanks, Charlotte, my fellow dog musher, for capturing that first downhill launch while I was wrangling my own team of dogs. 1. Speechless except to say wow, what a thrill that must have been. :-)

Loved this! It looked like a nasty drop to the right but the dogs stayed to the trail. Good dogs!

What an adventure! That drop off looked mighty steep :) The dogs, the snow, the noise, the speed – you captured it beautifully, you daredevil!
